Factory for production of Pipes and Fittings was founded in 1991. Building of this factory represented a realization of a new direction in HIP-Petrohemija's development program, with the basic objective to achieve better valorization of its products.
Polyethylene pipes and fittings are made of imported high density polyethylene PE 100 produced by renown producers worldwide.
Production program of the Pipes and Fittings plant includes:
1. Polyethylene pipes,
- for gas, diameter 20-250 mm, pressures up to 10 bar
- for water, diameter 20-250 mm, pressures up 16 bar
- for telecommunication (PTT pipes), diameter 32-110 mm
Annual capacity is 4,800 tons.
2. Fabricated fittings
- Equal Tees, Reducing Tees, Reducer Couplers, Elbows, Cross branches, End Caps, Stub Flanges, diameter 20-250 mm
Annual capacity is 6,000 units.
3. Corrugated Electro-Insulating Pipes
- Polyethylene pipes, diameter 16-63 mm
- Polypropylene pipes, diameter 16-63 mm
Annual capacity is 250 tons.
